WHERE does time go? We are into week 3 of Abilene’s pregnancy!!! It is hard to believe! This is day 16 ! The embryos are 64 cells in size and are implanting in her uterus. Six more weeks and they will be getting ready to meet the world!!!
Sunday Abilene went with us on a trail ride. As long as she has plenty of energy and it is not hot or real long a ride I do not limit her from going with us. Latter when she starts to slow down I will not allow her to go with us, but I know exercise is very good for her and the puppies.
She is eating good, and next week I will add cottage cheese to her supper. A funny thing she she does at night… she stretches out on the porch love seat and takes the whole seat area to sleep on. She loves her tummy to be rubbed and that will get worse as she starts to grow larger.
Sunday we rode by Bettie’s Love Rock… It got its name from a friend of ours that rides with us sometimes. Her husband is not a horse rider, but for their anniversary he asked me if I could provide him a horse safe to ride and plant a picnic lunch on the trail somewhere so he could have a romantic outing . Ladies how romantic???!!!! I said sure, there is this big old rock and it is shaped like a heart and we stop there sometimes and sit, talk ,snack, so that is where I put the table cloth out and the basket of food he provided along with some fancy glasses for the tea and boy was Bettie surprised!!! First he rode a horse with her, then the picnic! Yes he made her very happy that day!! And how sweet!! Way to go Mark!!! So now we call it Bettie’s Love Rock!!!
