By my math this should be day 30 plus or minus a day. All most half way!!!! Days 29 to 35 the “puppies” toes, whisker buds and claws are developing. The gender can be determined. Eyes previously open Now close . They will grow from 18mm to 30mm.Organogenesis ends and the puppies are fairly resistant to interference with their development.
Abilene’s tummy seems to be swelling and is noticeable. She is loosing her tuck up (ha! she has very little to loose) And her weight will start to increase.
I am giving her more food, and palpitation is no longer possible because of the fluids in her uterus.
Abilene is still busy about the farm and today caught a squirrel. She showed all the dogs she is still the huntress!!
I am making my second batch of homemade pear preserves using my Grandma’s recipe that was her mothers too.
