No excuses today! I felt good , had plenty of time to get ready and I wanted to go to church! So I did!!! My cousin is a UMC minister and I went to Central in Denton were he preaches at. It was good, and wow! He can preach!!! His Grandpa Nance would be proud!
I stopped by and visited a friend that had a lump removed on Friday and she is doing well!
Then home ate a salad and headed to the Sheep pens to work with the dogs. That went well despite my slow mind and even slower body! Only one time did I think I was going to be mowed down by the sheep!
Amarillo and Drover were the two I worked. Amarillo has this perfect down stay and it is so handy! Drover watches what I want done and then does it. So this afternoon I was the ‘dog” and showed him what I wanted. Then he and I worked the ducks, we moved them all over the big arena. What a smart dog he is and naturally talented!
We cleaned all the water troughs and filled them with fresh water.
Tomorrow Les and I will cut wood!!! It is getting cold here!! And our new flue Les built is doing the job! Our house is so cozy and warm. Tonight I fixed vegetable beef soup on the wood stove! (Saving electricity and using wood to stay warm that is what we are doing for “Green”) Yeah!!
