OH MY!!! The last Abilene Drover puppies left today for Texas! How quiet and still it is with no puppies under foot! Abilene had a very odd look on her face today as the puppy left..like she knew… But life settled back to normal and no one complained… Even Montanna enjoyed this litter! They were polite to their elders and quiet pleasing pups all round! Drover played with them as did Abilene! BOO never thought much of the little rascals. Amarillo had to keep saying “No I am not your Mother! Look for lunch over there!”
I went to do my chores and Man DID I MISS THEM!!! They were so nice and fun and smart! But it is as it should be.. My part is done.. now the puppies will have to be what they were bred and meant to be…Good, smart, English Shepherds! I will wait for emails with photos and stories of how they are all doing! (It is in the contract!) Plus if anyone has a question or concern I am here to help in anyway I can.!
I got Texas my paint horse out this evening and he is really shedding! Spring is not far away! I collect about 3 duck eggs a day and am fixing to set some under a hen! The yellow bells are about to burst open! The frogs and crickets were making beautiful music this evening… It does feel like spring!
