I am pretty tired tonight. We had a real good Herding Workshop! The weather was beautiful! The grass is turning green and starting to grow. It was breezy and nice and sun shinning.
Jess the Border Collie came and worked in sun glasses! ( He has an eye condition and has to were sun glasses to protect his eyes from the UV rays! ) I have to say he was very cool looking in his shades! Sort of Blues Brothers looking! He had a very good time and did very good for his owner! I could all most hear him saying at 4:30PM “Come on man just one more round! Please?!)
Skye was here a blue eyed beauty! She is from the Montana Rescue and an English Shepherd owned by the Swifts. She was tickled to be here and loved every minute of it and Everybody!!! What a sweet happy girl! And learning and doing so well!!! Look out HCT and Jr Herding Dog test she will be working on that before too much longer!
Abilene got to work sheep today and was nice and quiet. And Mr. Drover helped in the pens and worked ducks and practiced his manners. He is a big help on this farm! They both looked cute in their St. Patty’s Day scarfs, Drover said “AH NOT A BOW! I am a boy dog!” It was pretty on both of them!
