It has been DAYS!!! Since my last post! Where do I start? Right at this moment ALL my dogs except Amarillo and the puppies (they are safe in the shop in their whelping room) are in my utility room with me because of the wind and the storms that are going through! Very strong storms! Scary! All are laid out not to concerned about anything!
We worked on the 40 foot round pen gathering stuff up to make it out of and building it that took 5 days and getting ready for the Herding Clinic last weekend! It was a great clinic! We all learned so much! Cathy Hartley is a super teacher! (More on that soon!)
I had special guests on Thursday last of Rowan (Patches) and Janice his owner for part of the day. What fun we had! We did a walk about and all the dogs except Amarillo and the puppies went along.
I purchased a Mantis Tiller (huge mistake!!!!) It is NOT what they claim! Took it back today HUGE DISASTER! BUT Mantis is going to make it right! Thank Goodness!
Started to Ken Treadway’s Tuesday and had to come back home because his barn was hit by a tornado Saturday night and blown about so all 40 head of horses (None were harmed!) had to be moved till it can be repaired!
I have been setting out trees and bushes for two days off and on.
Today I did a riding lesson!
We are not going to Mount Rogers for the summer to work. So I will conduct a couple of Horse Camps and continue my Herding Workshops. Plus I will have a garden! And can what I grow in my garden! That is real good!
