Bone Charmers!

Today was nice and sunny, warm, breezy…I love this kind of weather! The puppies and the dogs tend to think it is all ready way to hot for their comfort, but for me it is perfect!

As I spent time playing with the puppies and teaching them to come and the word “No” I thought about what I use to do for a living (I built homes, developed land and sold real estate) and what a stressed life I lived for all those years. All ways making things work. Don’t get me wrong I Loved what I did still do. But oh how I wish I could have known and trusted living my life differently like I do now.  Simpler, slower, easier.  Happy and not pushed! Oh some of this comes and goes with youth. But I had the kind of life I live  now lived before me by my Grandma and Grandpa Delk.  I thought it was too slow a way for me to live back then. What did I know?!

The puppies are such a joy to watch and play with. So entertaining. They run and jump, bark, roll each other, jump off the porch, get mad fuss and then fall down and sleep in a puppy pile so soundly I can check ears without so much as being noticed.

The puppies play with the big dogs and all of them are good with the puppies. Amarillo is amazing not leaving the puppies and she has them weaned. She plays like a young pup herself with them. Then Drover  laying on his back allowing the puppies to crawl and jump all over his tummy without a grumble. Then there is Montanna with her bone and 5 English Shepherd puppies teaming up to trick her out of that same bone! She lifted her lip and complained but never snapped at or hurt the little thieves. One went to her tail to draw her attention worked too! Then one slid easy on the grass towards the bone all charming like and another puppy came up and eased in from the right side and started chewing the bone! Yeah it is true! I could hardly believe my eyes!

Abilene is still going leave me alone I just raised my litter! BOO wants to play with them but is not sure she should.

I have a Black and tan Camera thief! One of the little girls would steal my camera every time I laid it down. She was awful proud of her abilities too!

The puppies are just plain fun!
