Today was the big day! The Amarillo/Drover puppies went out into the world on their own for the first time!
I opened the storm door and all nine puppies poured out like a flood! They were bold and confident! Explorers of a New World! What fun they had and amazing to watch! (Yes I have Video!) Be patient! I will edit and upload in a day or so!
The puppies came running out to me and crawled on me and played all over me! There was tug of war and tag you are it played. Sniff, sniff what is this? Oh! grass, gravel, hay, a lawn mower trailer and concrete!
Then Hi! Who are you? Montanna, Daddy Drover and Grandma (I am not baby sitting these puppies!) Abilene! Drover and Montanna found the little bitters quite fun! (you will see from the video!) Amarillo allowed feeding them was enough “quality” time for her!
After about 30 minutes of running, rolling, jumping, looking for milk buckets in the wrong places they were tiring out and so the first adventure came to a “sleepy” end…. More tomorrow!

Kay, I can hardly wait to see the video. Just watched “sleeping puppies” again……LOVE! I will never tire of it :o).
We have watched the puppy videos over and over! They are so sweet and full of energy. Drover seems so gentle with them. Thank you for sharing.
