Puppy Play Pen

Have you ever thought about what would make the perfect puppy play ground?  I have given it some thought with each litter I have here.

1. lots of space

2. toys of all sorts

3.people and dogs to play with

Here is what it is…

The crawl space under my tack room! Dirt to lay in (cool tummies) a slight incline, a few rocks, holes in the dirt (great for digging), grass out back in the 10×10 kennel attached, a couple old pillows , milk jug, real butcher bones, and scraps of whatever can be scrounged up.

That is it! OH and their Momma to keep them from being to rough!

Play consists of squeezing between the rocks, digging in the dirt but mainly scooting in the dirt and rolling in the dirt, and rolling each other in the dirt, Zooming up and down the incline and out into the grass, where they stop to pull some grass and then back again. Sister and brothers tails are good for pulling so are ears! Then there is Momma Amarillo, whoops! She has no sense of humor about giving up any milk! And snoozing on the cool dirt!

They LOVE this spot ! Whine to go to it!
