If a bad start makes for a good finish then this one should be spectacular!
1. The horse trailer was not ready! Many problems! No brakes (wiring), 2 ruined wheels, bad wheel bearings, no packing for bearings!
2. Mark the trailer repair person calls and says Trailer will not be ready till NEXT WEDNESDAY sometime if then!
3. What do I do?
4. I have a borrowed horse! Cheyanne! Now I need a Trailer!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
5. Start calling! No one home, but Buck and Diane say come get their trailer. That is in Reidsville! UHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Lets see if there is something closer!
6. I get hold of Don his trailer might be needed but he would let me know after 5 PM ( it is 4 hours up there to Pisgah and I still have to pick up a trailer load it and oh yeah hook it up and then there is the truck Got to pick it up!
7. Then Larry says I can have his trailer for the weekend.! YES! It is 2:30 PM Thursday…
8. Paul takes me to get the truck.
9. Marks says “Hold on I may have it all fixed in a few minutes!” YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10. I arrive home at 5:30 PM with my trailer. Start loading everything!
11. I call Larry Bless his heart he had unloaded HIS trailer so I could use it! Okay owe him supper! Sorry bout that!
12. I get on the road at 7:00 PM !
13. Three hours I am in Fletcher,NC CLOSE! (I THINK!) RIGHT!
14. Directions good for day time but night time iffy! Make wrong turn in residential neighborhood in Brevard! Not a biggy, turn that trailer round and get David Finnan on phone and back on tract!
15. ANOTHER hour and half and I am there!!!!! Nice camp ground Nice people! Wonderful Bed calling me!!!!!!
