I thought I’d share an email with you…
Today, Sharlie surprised me….I have an old cat that I put up every night so the coyotes don’t get her. The cat did not show up like she usually does. I asked Sharlie to go find her. She put her nose to the ground and actually acted like she was following her scent. I told my husband, who was walking behind her with me, that maybe Sharlie actually knew what she was doing, because she followed the scent across the farm road and to a hole under the fence that goes up on the canal bank. Sharlie couldn’t go under the fence, so she continued down along the fence looking for a place to go under. I turned around several yards down to see our old cat sneaking down the ditch bank and right back under the fence where Sharlie indicated she went under! Ha! She is learning to talk! As soon as she saw the cat, she was jubilant!Eloise
