NO I did not go to the Piney Grove Big Meeting! I stayed up to late cleaning then got up too late (and felt rough to boot) ! But my pantry is clean and in order as is my kitchen and all my dishes and I have a few things left to do before I start my decorating for Fall.
Today Les and I straightened up the Tack Room and put our tack back in order. I wanted to ride but it was way too hot to do that . Maybe tomorrow evening.
Last Monday I had to take Montanna to the Vet in Virginia. Anyone that knows me very well knows that when I take the dog to a vet especially one I do not know it has to be serious . It was!
She had a temp of 104.8 and was throwing up. It reminded me of Boobie Dog when he got sick and it was serious. Seems Montanna has some sort of Bacterial Infection. They did exrays, ultra sound, blood test and a snap test. $524.18 latter they could not say what it was…There were more tests they could run but the treatment would have been the same so we are a treating. She is on antibiotics and is getting better! Has not been sick since and never lost her appetite. But she was very sick on Monday. Scared me bad!
She weighed 88 pounds! YES that is WAY TOO MUCH! So now Montanna and Abilene are on diets. Rice and Lots of Green Beans and some boiled chicken for flavor. I can see a difference in both dogs. We are walking and playing and eating much less! Thirty pounds is a long way to go!
