Today!!!

I seem to be off to a very slow start!!!

I am catching up on phone calls, emails and mail!

My sheep got moved to a different spot for their intense rotational weed grazing! I was able to purchase some fine electric Premier 1 sheep fencing all electric some time back and let me tell you all “It is the right stuff!” I LOVE IT!!  Easy to install and move and hook up. The posts are built in and you just stake the corners. Tonight the Girls are eating fresh weeds and grass and I hope they get to the poison oak!

All the dogs were loose today and very helpful. Amarillo is all but out of heat . No I did not  breed her this time.  Next cycle she and I will travel to Texas (I hope) to breed to a very nice dog named Sheffield.  I do plan on breeding Abilene to Drover this fall for December puppies.

Drover is so smart and good he is helpful too! Boy does he like to herd the ducks! He may go to a AHBA Trial in September. We will see how he does next week…

Montanna is feeling better and on a diet! She has been (is) sick with some sort of infection. BOO is well BOO.. a really good girl and loves us!  I love the way she works and is becoming quite the cattle dog like her Mom Amarillo.

Abilene is on the same diet as Montanna and she has lost some weight. It is so hard to get the weight off and so easy to put it on.
