You all know how most women folk like to rearrange the living room…Well I have totally rearranged the Herding Arenas!
Today I had help…Larry and Don two of our long time friends . We set up the Duck arena and are ready to set the HCT 50 foot round pen tomorrow. Plus start the 100 x 200 foot sheep arena. It will double as a horse arena as well. So will the HCT arena.! Dual purposes! I really like that!
My horses are fine now…But still up. Maybe I will get them a small safe spot fixed tomorrow in the pasture!
Texas is still visiting at Tosha’s house and the girls like him a lot….We may do some riding lessons soon on him over there. His old back is swayed too much for me to ride him for any length of time. Much to my sorrow…He is as fine of horse as I have ever known, or likely will ever know. He has such a gentle sweet spirit.He deserves the best of retirement…
Things will be ready for the NC Gathering , I still have much to do…Maybe tomorrow I can get the arenas all set back up. The sheep are coming Sunday. (I have to borrow extra sheep) my seven girls are not enough. This year Kelly Martin of Findley Vue Farm will be providing a large portion of our sheep.
