Today I had breakfast at The Village with my husband! What a nice way to start my day! Then he left for work!
Today was so beautiful. The air holding a real promise of colder weather but not letting it happen just yet!
The trees are turning but slower than usual I believe. The grass green and growing in the pasture, and the yard. I think I will mow at least another time or two. There was a breeze and the pond is catching yellow fallen leaves like a dream catcher does dreams… They are all in the upper end of the pond and remind me of a still mysterious place. The trees reflect on the still water and I know it will not be long till the trees will be showing off their simple elegant beauty.
Drover and I moved the sheep to behind the dam this evening. The horses were moved again for intense rotational grazing purposes yesterday. The ducks are loving their daily freedom and thriving.
Tomorrow Margaret and I will travel to Virginia to pick up my borrowed ram so we can breed my Ewes! March Lambs!!!! I sure like the sound of that!!!!
