Week Seven…Abilene Puppies!!!!!

We are in week 7 of Abilene’s pregnancy! Those puppies will be here before I know it!!!

I have to make a email for the puppy announcement so all I have to do is fill in the blanks when they arrive. So all my prospective puppy homes will know “they have arrived”.

So much still to do! Where do I start? I wonder how many? What color are they? When will they arrive? Bedding to be washed, towels brought out, a window to repair! Birthing records to copy, flash lights to put batteries in.  I need a LIST!!!! That’s it!!!!

I have everything ready to put in the whelping room. I just have to do it!

Week Seven (Days 43-49)

DEVELOPMENT OF THE PUPPIES

• Growth and development continues

CHANGES IN ABILENE

• Abdomen hair has started shedding
• She has started to look pregnant at this point (she has been looking like that for a while!)

CARE OF ABILENE

• I Slightly increased both meals

TO DO LIST

• Stop any roughhousing or jumping
• Radiographs (X-rays) possible to determine number and size of puppies
• we have no need to do the x rays

Tomorrow I plan to finish my Christmas decorating and then make the list!!!! Then do it!!!!!

NAMES, NAMES, NAMES, Gosh! I got to think of NAMES!!!!!!! Maybe I will go with something I can “remember” this time! Any suggestions?
