The young lady on the horse is Mary, in fact that is her horse Stormy. He had a famous career in the Ken Treadway Rodeo for 15 years plus before he retired to be Mary’s horse.
Mary took lessons on him and rode him on the trails. We boarded Stormy for a while . He is back in South Carolina now where he was born , and spent most of his life. But for 3 wonderful years he was loved and ridden by a very special young lady! I know if he could talk he would say they were his” Best Years of His Life!”
We teach, Horsemanship, at Summer Camp as well as riding….
One summer we went to the creek to cool off in the afternoon. You would have thought we were at some fancy beach! The campers LOVED the creek! All but one had never been in a creek before! What fun they had!
