Cold is what it has been today!
I drug out the insulated flannel lined jeans! 3 fleece shirts and a coat! gloves , Maple Grove Farm Outlast socks (Still have a few pairs for sale at $10.00 a pair) and I can special order them too.. Drover is on them and Maple Grove Farm. They are made by High Rock Hosiery and are the BEST Socks ! Warm and dry is what your feet are in the winter and dry and cool in the summer! And I wore my boots! I have some Effax Leader Balsm coming tomorrow and I am going to treat my boots asap!!!! It makes leather waterproof and so very soft! My next project is to grease all my tack!
Horses are in the barn tonight ALL of them along with the sheep. Ducks are in their pen in the pasture. Dogs are in warm crates except for Montanna and Drover they are in the Utility Room!
I have a good fire in the wood stove (Thank you Les for all the wood all neatly stacked on the porch and split so it will burn perfect!)
I made a Pumpkin Pie (no crust) and had a salad for supper.
There are wild ducks on the pond! They have been there all day. I all ways know when the weather is going to be really cold. That is when the dive dampers visit our pond!
Lets see am I forgetting something? OH ! PUPPIES AND ABILENE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They are doing just fine ! They eat and sleep, Wake get cleaned up and eat and go back to sleep. They are all warm and cozy in their room! Abilene is doing great and goes with me to bring the sheep up. But that is all! She is such a good Momma!
I have been hovering over the puppies and kissing their little heads! Gosh they are all so sweet! I can hardly stand it!
To top off my warm out fit I wore 2 boggins while out side! One just does not do the job! The dogs and I finished my fencing project and now all we have to do is fill the water trough and turn the fence charger on! Tuff and Goodnight have fresh grass!
I bet tomorrow will be a two Bogging day as well!!!!!
