Bronwin on Chiscoe, and I am on a Roan QH…
A cold Fall Day…at the farm.
In my search for that wonderful perfect horse, I came across this Roan Gelding at Ken Treadways. He rode good! I rode him for several months. I even went on a pack in trip with him and two of my friends! (Boy is that a tale to tell!) anyway, He had a few faults but nothing that I was bothered by too much. Or thought I could not fix…
He never tied well, that is to say when you tied him he pawed ALL the time! ALL the time!
I was giving Bronwin a riding lesson and we were up on the mountain behind my house. He flew into bucking! Not once but twice! In two different spots. Seems if he knew where he was at, he would sull up and attempt to unload you so he could return home!
Oh, His name?!!! He Ain’t Gonna Stay!!!!!
