Wednesday I hauled the 3 rescue mares to Ken Treadways. They are gone! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!
Friday my first puppy left for her new home in Winston Salem, NC. I was sad for me…but happy for the puppy Happie!
Today Four Puppies left! They are all in their new homes tonight with their people! Sleigh now Titan, Eve now Kora, Ringo still Ringo, and Joy now Molly…It is as it should be…The puppies are ready for their new homes…
Abilene is still watching over and caring for the puppies. I have to wonder does she notice there are some missing?!?
How appropriate that I should be sending off my puppies on the day that my Boobie Dog passed away 4 years ago…I knew I was feeling all weepie and sad for a week or better then I looked at the calendar! Ah! I lost Boobie Dog and my Ruff 3 days apart and 10 years apart! That is 25 years of my life with these wonderful dogs called English Shepherds!
It is a fitting Memorial to these two good dogs that I would have puppies ready to leave at this time!
This Abilene Drover Litter , the first litter of English Shepherds born in 2012 . are dedicated to the memory of my Boobie Dog (1998-2008) and my Ruff (1982-1998)… These puppies have a lot to live up to but they have shown me all ready they are quite capable!
I have great hopes and expectations for this litter! They are all placed with wonderful families! If they bring one tenth the joy, and pleasure to their new owners that Boobie Dog and Ruff gave to me, then they will have been the blessing I hoped they would be!
