I have not been a steady blogger lately. I am sorry… I just have been so caught up in so many different things I have not felt like I had the heart for it. Plus there is just “something” about tax time that hurts! grin!
As you know we are getting ready for our Linda Rorem Clinic on May 19 & 20… That is looking real good. I have everything on schedule and will be able to finish up my pens and gates next week I think. First got to kill the Poison Oak ! Gosh there is a bunch of the stuff!
I have had Amarillo in and out of the house all week at night and during the day then back into her whelping room. She likes it in her room! I expect tomorrow night I will sleep with her. The baby monitor is on so I can hear well what she is doing.
We are prepared I think! All the bedding was washed this week that was interesting. I took it to a laundromat! What a mess! But it is all clean now!
Tosha and the children came Wednesday and we played with the lambs. We have some cool photos to share. Soon!
I have been working my sheep daily . It is interesting to see how Drover is growing in his understanding and ability. He is a very agreeable dog.
Today Drover and Montanna held a line while I moved the sheep from one field to the other! It was all very cool!
I am growing in my understanding of the sheep as well!
Well, I promise Once Again to Do Better with my blogging!
OH! And I expect to be announcing puppies in the next 48 hours!
Amarillo is a sweet girl and still wags her tail happily! She looks like the “Goodyear Blimp” ! Poor thing, sitting is her favorite position, and I do not blame her! She is very soft in her hind quarters. Her milk is in and there is plenty! She still rides the Gator but does very little walking except to potty. And the gator riding is done on the floor of the gator no more climbing on the back. She is eating well ( Puppy Food) and drinks lots of water. Very thirsty! Her mucus plug is out so it will be soon. I can feel puppies moving and hear hearts beating. I counted at least 5, with the position she stays in it is hard to hear hearts beating! I expect more than 5, from the size of her. She has all ways had 9…
Stay tuned! I sure hope they arrive in the daylight!
