It will not be long before we have lambs! The older ewes are dilating and they are huge! The young ewes are not so large. But they may not be as far along as their Mothers…
The sheep want to stay round the house! They hang out on my tack room porch. Silly girls! Plus they hate to get wet. I have them up in the barn again tonight. Drover helped. Could not have done without him!
We had to walk down to the sheep pens to bring the flock up to the barn. The girls as so heavy with lambs they were not in a hurry like 1 month ago!
The puppies want to help, and are venturing out closer to the sheep each day. Tonight they came round the back of the barn and watched.
