I am so happy! MY ewe I thought might not make it is JUST FINE! Maybe a bit weak but well on the way to recovery! All the sheep are treated for parasites, and should be good for a 3 weeks!
We have had so much rain that has caused the parasite problem.
The parasites are cause by snails! Okay pretty hard to defend against them in this weather! But we will be more diligent in prevention!
Normally we have a small problem with parasites. Katahdins are a hardy resistant to parasites breed.
Timber and Drover are headed to the Beauty Box Saturday for a shampoo!
We are working on fencing and a gate! The gate is on the driveway! The sheep will have to figure out how to get round it and the fence! Had to go after them 3 times today!
Horse is doing much better. He is healing and should be fine too!
