The weather was good for working sheep today.
I had a new dog Finn and his nice owner in this afternoon to work sheep.
Finn is a Australian Shepherd. What a pretty boy and a nice, interested, good worker! He is only 10 months old. He was a lot of fun to work because he was so interested and biddable.
We did lots of different things, but started in the 50 foot round pen teaching Finn to get out and around the sheep. He stayed out and caught on fast.
Drover was the stock handling dog as usual. He gathered the flock and sorted them for me. He enjoyed the work !
The ram is going to the sale this coming Tuesday! He wants to fight my dog and I am afraid for Drover and myself.
