Well, Cousin Benny did a fine job this week!
The three nights he spoke on what would the Disciples say…”I met a man who_____….” Tonight was the best and the worst for me…(A bit of toe stomping) Much needed! 🙂
He spoke about 10 of the Disciples.
It was a fine week…The neighbors were making hay and what a good stretch of weather for hay making this week has been!
Tonight Les and I fed the preacher and his wife! In the tradition of my Grandma and Great grandma before her…Cousin Benny and I talked about his Great grandpa Benny Nance…I told him a story he had never heard.
Benny spoke of how his Mother had been tough but showed him the right way and took him to church. We talked about how his Aunts and Uncles helped his family during hard times and how important family is.
We chatted about good food and good and hard times.
I told Benny it was amazing to me how something his Grandpa started over 90 years ago was still bearing fruit… all this was in keeping with the messages he brought to us all 3 nights! We had some really good singing and a sweet spirit was in the church…
It was a good revival!
