The puppies are leaving one by one….Sigh…The first ones left and I thought good they are ready! Prepared for life as well as I can make them…There were a total of 14 puppies (7 Amarillo Drover Puppies and 7 BOO Trapper Puppies) So the number was nice as it got less…
Now there are 4! UH?! My Puppies are Leaving!!!!!
Many people ask “How can you let them go?” I love them and play with them. Feed and care for them! Teach them all I can and hopefully send them to the right home! But I am all ways here to help in any way. Everyone pretty much stays in touch and keeps me informed.
I see many at the NC Gathering… as well as many visit…Send videos and or emails and call…Photos too!
But. .I know what a joy this wonderful breed called English Shepherds are! I love to share them with my new found friends! It is a wonder, a pleasure, and privilege to be able to share my puppies, and my knowledge, I have of the breed with others!
I think of the puppies new life… going out into the world as a big wonderful adventure! And what a pleasure it is to have one of these wonderful dogs!
I would never want to be with out one!
I will be sad when the last puppy leaves next week… It will be quiet round here. No more puppy breath for a while;-) …
But time for Drover and I to get to work! Sheep to trim …Sheep to worm… Two trials to get ready for! Timber to start to work seriously… and BOO!
A NC Gathering to get ready for! OH Lots to do! Thank Goodness!
Now to Enjoy the puppies while I have them here!
