Waking up to a cool soft rain on a Saturday morning. Grass green and sheep softly moving grazing and their bells tinkling.
Sitting and talking with friends from Virginia about their beautiful smart English Shepherd Beau and their interesting lives. Looking at photos…Relaxing having a danish ring from Panerina Bread. Yum!
Latter the sun came out a bit and the rain stopped…We went to the sheep pens with that smart English Shepherd called Beau.
Beau is out of Hattie and Dallas. He is a black and white intact male coming 5 years of age in December. He is OFA Excellent, and MDR 1 nn.
Beau worked goats and chickens but because of his owners need for some surgery..the Goats and chickens were sold recently.
Drover gathered the sheep in the big field and put them in the pens for us.
Then Beau got to show us what he was made of!
I am impressed! He is the real deal! What a great dog! He wanted to work , is a natural at gathering and listens and wants to please. Easily stopped! Even with non dog broke light sheep!
We worked a while rested a while…Worked…He was getting round the flock of 9 easily and had the sheep following me…What a nice easy dog! Then Beau and Lew unpenned the rest of the sheep and put the flock behind the dam!
Beau is everything his owners said and then so much more! I could not be more pleased.
If you are looking for a stud dog please consider Beau! All evening and today (Sunday) these words from a song…has been in my mind…”I’ve got a soft easy feeling in my mind and it wont let me down, cause I’m all ready standing on the ground”
Nice, Nice dog!
