Early in the morning 11-20-14….Abilene started giving birth to her Drover puppies.
There is an old hymn “I stand Amazed in the Presence” and then a country song by George Strait “I saw God Today”…Well those two songs have been in my mind and on my heart all day as I attended the birth of Abilene and Drover’s last litter. (I will spay Abilene in the spring) She has done her job and quite well.
I cannot explain what it is like to see new life come into the world. Simply amazing. Awesome, and humbling.
As I sat on the floor most of the night and all day…I thought about life and how we live it. How short it is and how we should make the most of what time we have no matter what our circumstances. “Bloom where we are planted!” Don’t wait Live Now! Live in the Moment! For that is what we have!
I hope you all will enjoy this last litter of Abilene’s as much as I plan to! Yes I hope there is a puppy I can keep! I too would love to have a Abilene Drover puppy! Will see! 😉

What a blessing. So beautiful….. We are so excited!
Love it! Love the puppies! Wish I could plan a visit when there was a delivery about to happen! Puppies….many times over the amazing sight of one foal…or one calf. Soooo wonderful! And glad Abilene is doing her good work with her babies!!
