Watching lambs play in the field! Bounce and run! Tag you are IT! Run! Tag! Now you are it!
After the rain and the barn difficulties…Les and I decided to build a temporary shelter in the field for the sheep and lambs.
Ashlyn and her friend Lilly came over after church and we had lunch.
Afterwards we spent the afternoon building the pen with a roof (of sorts) out of pallets! Pretty cool and easy! a screw gun, some step in T posts and lots of baling twine! Oh and a tarp and one old porch awning! We are in business!
Ashlyn and her friend Lilly were such great helpers! What smart 11 year olds they are! Helpful polite and hard workers! Never a complaint ! Just a real pleasure to have round!
It would have taken Les and I much longer to build the pen without Ashlyln and Lilly’s assistance!
We finished before dark and I hope the sheep will be smart enough to get inside!
