Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers!
On the farm there are some lambs and ewes that would disagree with it being a Happy Day!
We weaned 9 lambs today…The signs are right for this! And tomorrow we will castrate and bob tails! again the signs are right…And worm all the sheep…I am guessing we will hear the fuss most of the night! They take spells of carrying on! But they had to be weaned! It was time and the ewes while still heavy in their milk…needed to have the lambs off of them!
All the misery will pass quickly!
But tonight…we will need ear plugs!
