NC English Shepherd Gathering!!!

Well we are preparing for the NC ES Gathering !!!

We do some things all year long with the Gathering in mind…(one of my big things is I keep things in order and put up..you know that stuff you would normally pile in a corner etc) 🙂

This year we have been working on the yard and the areas you can sit and visit, and we all ways have the shop building!

Plus the pond is all ways ready for the dogs to enjoy!

We have some great plans for this year. A vet talk on Saturday!  Lots of great food planned. Good parking and if you need to park in close well we have that covered too!  We have string music in the Maple Grove planned as well…

Friday we will have a herding clinic…Starting at 8:00 AM with several clinicians that will be able to help you at any level you might be at. When I say herding this does not just apply to trialing..But that dog you need to help you on the farm …can learn some new helpful chores as well!  I will be posting the sign up sheets for this clinic in a few days …There is a fee of $25.00 per dog . You get two runs (AM and PM) the number of dogs is limited to 25  for this event. I encourage you to sign up early to guarantee a spot in this clinic

Sunday  starting at 9 :00 AM we will be holding a round table discussion on the English Shepherd breed this will be a great time to discuss trends and thoughts as well as concerns you may have about the English Shepherd breed …Then at 1:00 we will hold the first ever (at Maple Grove Farm) English Shepherd Herding Chore course!  Come and be ready to have tons of fun with this! All your dog has to be able to do is walk on leash!

We will issue certificates for anyone that attends the NC ES Gathering… participating in the ES Versatility Program (so you can earn points towards that too)

We have free camping at the farm …tents, RVS. and we have showers.
