Yes Today was the special day ! No I do not tell my age…LOL! I suspect my face does 🙂 But never mind… I don’t think about it.
I had my melt down at 25 years of age and gave it all I had! Now the number is not important! I called my Great Aunt Grace and thought she would understand my serious trouble with turning 26…she shared words of wisdom and told me to get a grip well sort of… she really explained things to me… I have not had a problem with any birthday since! She said I was silly! (I was) and that I needed to cherish each day and live the day to the fullest! And to stop it ! I was silly! I have not visited there since….
I like to think about how dogs live life in the moment and to the fullest! That is HOW I live! It works pretty well too!
It has been a wonderful day with many friends visiting… with well wishes, phone calls and Birthday Cards. A wonderful meal with my sweet Husband Les and our good friends Gerry and Bob. My sweet Aunt Peggy and sweet Uncle Don calling me and visiting tomorrow…I know I have cookies coming!
Sweet good English Shepherds! Lambs, sheep and horses. Beautiful sunshine, a nice sunny warm day. Life on the farm this is a very special place to me…I did some work!
AND MY NEW REDONE SWING arrived!!!!! YES!!!!
And then there is this…My Grandma use to make my favorite cake for my birthday…It was Mississippi Mud cake. I would eat the icing and a bit of cake! Sigh…I miss Grandma…But in my heart I had cake tonight! (and it is calorie free) …Ah…A visit in my heart with Grandma..
