Announcing…the successful mating of KAT and Boaz!!!

Boaz

I was looking at the puppies I see born on different websites (as always) and saw 2 beautiful Drover  type looking litters. I checked them out and sure enough they were by the same sire! (NO RELATION TO DROVER) I did a bit of checking and he lives in Kentucky. KAT was in season and about ready to be bred. I called and well Sunday February 20th 5:00 PM after doing lessons all day we were off! Ashlyn, I and KAT Ballou !

We arrived around midnight and then it took 30 minutes (THANK YOU GPS) to find his home!

All was good! We met his sire and had the option to breed to him! But I liked the younger dog and sire of the two litters I had seen on line…

Both dogs were friendly, but cared more about their owner…after some talk and watching the two dogs my decision was made.

It took maybe 5 minutes and then the tie of 21 minutes!

I will leave out our Red Roof Inn experience…I left my pillows behind on purpose!  It was bad…

Next day at 11:30 AM the deed was accomplished once again! A 20 minute tie.

We hit the nearest Cracker Barrel to celebrate and got gas and was home by 8:30 PM !

Thank you Lord!

She was out of standing heat by Wednesday!!! She has a very narrow window to breed…I pray we were timely!

I should know in 3 weeks!
