Les got home from work at 1:00 PM …so we headed down to Farmer School to our polling place to vote.
On to Denton to pay bills and send some snail mail…
We came back through Hulin McDowell Road and there was a guy with a stick trying to herd cows down the highway! We slowed down and asked him if he needed help…He said no he was good…Then he asked us if the cows were ours or if we knew who they belonged to? Uh No! We had no idea…So I got out and helped (the guy was from Animal Control)…
I showed him how to herd the cows and we put the cows in a corner in someone’s yard. Then we took the animal control person back to his truck 3 miles away by the road…
What a wonderful afternoon! Only way it could have been better ? If Drover had been long to help!:)
