I worked BOO in the Larry Painter Sheep Camp along with my young Puppy (no Name) and Timber as well as Drover.
All did good…
Drover worked on his stock dog stock handling as well as DRIVING!!! YES!!! I believe we got it now! more on that soon…
Timber worked in the round pen and in the larger arena…We have more work to do…But she is a good farm dog and bird of prey alerter! Friendly and sweet as can be. A really good girl!
My puppy is a header…And did quite well getting round the stock . Fearless. And wants to work…but she is only 14 weeks old! So she is worn out in about 3 minutes! I look for good things out of this puppy!
BOO is a driving type herding dog. I need her to be able to gather for me. She is learning to do this. And to not bite heels unless needed.
Today the sheep got out while we were delivering hay. BOO helped Drover get the sheep back up in the field and she listened to me and did as I told her! she had a flat out run and it was short…But she did not bite the sheep! She has a lot of presence and wants to work and please me with all her heart! This is a really good dog! I am very pleased with BOO’s progress!
Soon as we can stand up in the field we are going to work!
