Oh Spring!
it has arrived in all its glory and beauty!
The birds are singing happily and busy making homes!
The frogs are singing their songs…Crickets are playing with the frogs and birds their special part of nature’s Spring Song….The lambs are doing their part too!
The grass is growing and turning spring green…
Today was warm and breezy and smelled like spring!
I went to Tosha’s and started their Spring riding lessons! What a wonderful glorious time I had! I did not realize how much I missed giving riding lessons!
We did round the world, rode backwards and side ways! Slid off Texas rump, mounted and dismounted both sides and with and without stirrups! All ways with a helmet!
Texas was a trouper and I got to ride him for a few minutes…What a wonderful horse he is! Retired…Swaybacked bad..But perfect for a few lessons!
I took KATBallou and she spent the afternoon watching and learning to be a good puppy! It helped her so much! And she realized she had to mind everyone!
What a good pup and buddy…
My lesson takers did a wonderful job…They have not forgotten anything…We worked on confidence and balance! The two most important building blocks for horse back riding in my opinion…All else will follow and be easy!
Our plan is to be able to go on an overnight camping trip and ride our horses!
Here are 2 photos from today… and a few of Texas the paint , Tanner the sorrel and Chiscoe the palomino…. Enjoy!
(I rode Texas for a few minutes and I am still happy and smiling!)
