Shorts, and short sleeves!
The dogs and I headed out for a “Walk about” . We went to the branch that borders our fields. What a fun time we had.
KAT jumped into all the deep holes of water. Drover never missed a chance to get wet.BOO was looking for a hot deer path. And the puppy…well she was not fond of water and avoided it like I did. Still she ran thru it fast when she had to!
We went to the creek on the gator, Les drove. The puppy “fell off” the rock and went clean out of site and came up swimming! All the dogs swam in the creek and had a great time.
We headed back and went up on the mountain. The dogs and I walked back down the old trail. I was remembering my friend the old growth forest as we walked along. Then the “Hot Deer Trail” happened and Drover, KAT and BOO were OFF! I called and all but but BOO came right back! The puppy stayed with me the whole time! At least one good dog! 🙂
Back to the house and rest and supper for all…
