Night before last we had a lot of wind in the thunder storms that passed through our area. There were more fallen leaves than rain. Man we could use the rain. So today we started the task of getting up the leaves and putting them on my garden spot so they will compost along with the horse manure. Makes real rich soft dark garden soil! Then in the spring I will have Randall Loflin come and use the all purpose cultivator to till it all in.
We are still enjoying fresh tomatoes from Paul’s garden the ones I gathered before the first frost. They are ripening now.
I have some real cute photos of Abilene on the gator with leaves piled all round her from today along with smoke rising out of our flue. The wood stove is what I cooked supper on tonight! I love the wood stove!!!
