I was just thinking about all the folks I have met through English Shepherds and Horses. It amazes quite frankly that I am meeting and making so many friends this way through the Internet. And to think 10 years ago I could not turn a computer on let alone email folk, have a web site, or blog!!! Shoot I could not type! Not too good still but I get by. Wish I had listened to Daddy’s advice about typing course, hum, did not follow advice ever to good… guess I still don’t. I have to learn it the hard way!
I have met people all over the United States. I have puppies in Alaska, California, Missouri, Maine, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, New Mexico, Colorado, Mississippi, Idaho, Illinois, Arizona, New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Indiana, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee to name most of them I think.
All the people that have attended the English Shepherd Gatherings here at our farm have come from the West Coast to The East Coast. Florida to Maine and Canada!!! And brought their dogs!!! Pretty amazing !! And the Nicest bunch of people Anywhere!!
My Grandma sitting at the English Shepherd Gathering in 2009 leaned over and said to me “Kay your Grandpa would have been so proud ” she was talking about all the people with their dogs and all of them having such a good time! Brought tears to my eyes then and now….
I believe the world getting to be a smaller place in some ways is not such a bad thing! In fact I think it is GREAT!! I would not have met nor have the ability to continue to meet and know such WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!!!!
