Today was puppy nail clipping day! Not a big deal ! These Abilene /Drover puppies are so laid back only one squirmed enough to be mildly difficult! They have been trimmed every Friday since they were 1 week old. They were wormed along with Abilene today as well. They love it Abilene does not!
Today was beautiful and sunny! The puppies were on the porch from early this morning and had the best time playing with each other and Daddy Drover! He is so funny to watch he lays down and allows the puppies to climb all over him. Never once did he hurt one, you can bet Abilene had her eye on the situation the whole time and was not approving at all. Even Montanna finds the puppies amusing. BOO still believes they are awful and will not come close to them on purpose.
The puppies have a large crate on the porch and sleep in it at nap time usually. Unless the sunshine is more to their likeing.
The puppies are climbing the steps out of wood, waking on slick and rough concrete, gravels in the driveway, play in the grass, leaves and hay. They walk on carpet and plywood. Jump off anything they can climb on dogs, legs, little people chairs the porch. And LOVE WATER!!! Running water out of a spicket they stick their heads under and play in, standing water in puddles after the rain they rip through them! Slipping and sliding on the rubber mats!
But the best thing I like is they come running when I call and want to get in my lap and be held! Too Sweet!!!! Yeah I will miss them! It will not be long now!
