WOW ! BUSY HERE!!!

I have not posted since Saturday this is Thursday! So much has happened around here! All good but not enough time in the day!

Two more puppies have left for their forever homes. So four remain to leave within the next 16 days! Jordan leaves next week and I am flying with one puppy on the 22nd to New Mexico. When I return 2 puppies will be heading to Alabama the next day.

YES! That leaves one puppy that has not found a home yet. He is the Black and Tan male “Tucker” named after a lake Tucker Town just below High Rock Lake and a favorite fishing spot for many around here.

I had company Sunday! Now I know how my Grandpa must have felt when folks came to visit him on Sundays after church to talk horses and dogs! It was really nice to have that memory stirred ! He all ways loved for folk to visit! My visitor was Sharon from Tennessee . She came and checked out my dogs and we had a good visit! The puppies played and entertained us by the pond and in the pond! It was a real nice day! Thank you Sharon!

Monday we worked more on the fence clearing and Tuesday Les returned from his trip to Alabama to vist his sons and their families. He had a real nice time!

Wednesday back to work on the fencing for Les and I got to go to town! As a child it was all ways special to get to go to town and we did not go often. (The dime store was my favorite store back then. I remember the best grape snow cones in the world! ) I had not been to town  lately at least a couple of weeks and so I went to Southern States, Tractor Supply, Wal Mart, Staples, Belks, Insurance Company, Post Office, Fred’s, and Dollar General. I enjoyed it ! It was fun ! Special! I am not sure what this says about me… but it brought to my mind the fact that I have took for granted the ability to just “go to town” . And maybe we as a society do not enjoy the simple things in life like we should ….

Today Danielito finished the fence work preparation and boy he has done so much work! I can hardly believe it! I am getting so excited! Now Les and I start my fencing for my sheep to be in the pasture!

Saturday we have several folk attending our Herding Work shop and that will be so much fun not to mention educational and helpful!  Tomorrow I prepair the pens and arena!
