Well, I am home for the night! And oh my it is so hot here!!! Got the yard mowed and Les weeded ….. Then off to the VA for Les’ appointment… All is well!!!!
We brought the dogs home with us all of them and left the horses at camp with our friend Alice. Heading back up tomorrow…
Did I mention it was 59 degrees at Fox Creek Horse Camp this morning?
We have a group to guide on Wednesday.
Things have been slow but nice….Perfect weather and if it is too hot to ride we stick our chairs in Fox Creek and cool off that way…
Last Thursday Sandy and Bob Hurd came up and visited in their new motor home. Of course Shenandoah Rose was with them! She is from the first Abilene Dallas litter. My what a fine dog she is! So pretty, smart and sweet!!!!
We all had a wonderful day on Friday showing them around the Mount Rogers area. We went to White Top (the mountain) and to White Top Station as well as Green Cove. Then we rode along the Creeper Trail and on to Backbone Rock ! What a good time and YES there was time to stop and stick ones toes in the creeks along the way! Shenandoah LOVED that! She is so much like Abilene!
