English Shepherd Gathering 2011

OCTOBER 7, 8, 9 , 2011

We are looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones! And friends we have talked to but never met in person.

Les and I are getting things ready. Even the dogs seem to know it is all most Gathering Time!

We will begin to Gather at 9:00 AM on Saturday the 8th .We have a special Search and Rescue at 10:30 AM,  planned for the morning , as well as a CGC Test at 3:30 PM, and questions will be answered by a professional dog trainer. . Plus a historical talk by Mary Peaslee. Of course there will be plenty of good food (folks should bring a side dish and what they like to drink) . Oh and that fun time of the Auction!right after lunch is finished. With Back Yard Agility all day long…

On Friday the 7th we are having a Herding Workshop conducted by Mary Peaslee , we will have sheep and ducks to work. Just come and watch I promise you will learn much and have a great time too! It starts at 9:00 AM . Bring your lawn chair, shade, or coat as needed, as well as your lunch. We will have sodas and water for sale only .

On Sunday we will have our Third Annual Maple Grove Farm AHBA Trial. This year our judges are Cathy Hartley from Oxford NC and Mary Peaslee from Oregon. It will start at 9:00 AM sharp.. If you are entering please email me for the sign up sheets. The cost is $45.00 per run. We are limited to 14 runs total. We will have sheep and ducks. Jr Herding Dog test and HCT as well as HTAD Course #4 sheep and ducks.. This will be exciting folks! And Fun!

As all ways camping is free and we do have a limited number of hook ups but will do all we can to make your stay pleasant.

Also I am working on a hotel list . I will publish that tomorrow.

We at Maple Grove Farm look forward to this Special Event Every Year and Love to have everyone attend.
