I hit the floor at 5:00 AM Thursday . Knowing ALL I had to accomplish to be ready for Friday!
We started in the shop setting up tables and sweeping. Sweeping, sweeping Did I mention sweeping???? We straightened up and put up things.
Around 1:00 PM Jan and I were joined by Laree and Sheree…. Thank the Lord! We had extra help!We needed it !
Folk started to arrive early for Friday! Michael Bates and Justus from Florida ( I think the Florida Attendees could drive a BUS next year! My what fun that would be!) I put Michael to work right away!
Michael worked on sheep pens and Reba came up and brought hog panels to use in our sheep holding areas! Yes they saved me with that help!
By late afternoon we were dragging! Laree and Sheree set up their tents and we had most of the important stuff done.
At 5:30 Laree, Sheree, Jan and I headed to the airport in Charlotte to pick up Mary Peaslee our Clinician for Friday and one of our Judges for Sunday! We made it in time! But I had lost (still have not found) my debit card . It is in my truck some where!!!
Mary had a long flight in from Oregon and I was sure she was hungry as we were! Olive Garden in Salisbury looked good to all of us. Course I took the 3rd exit before the right one and wound us up in the country! Finally food was in sight!!!! It was good as was the company! Then on home and to bed.
It would not be long before time to rise and shine!
