Back Home!

Margaret and I went to the mountains today and returned Mr. Wooly to his farm.

We had a nice visit! We talked dogs and horses all day! smile!

My brother Kenneth and his helper Randall came by early and loaded the ram (all ready in his cage) into the back of my pick up. Course true to Astor Delk’s legacy I got stuck in the field twice! and Had to be pulled out! At least it was a GMC that pulled me out! I swear it was all most the exact place Grandpa use to get stuck!

It rained all day just about and hard too! The wind blew but we made it up and back just fine! Boy the rivers and creeks are really up!

I saw a 1740’s original log home . It is being redone and has beautiful stone work! Wow!

We stopped in and visited with Jr. Cox in Independence VA and he was doing good. Saw his mule Sasparillia and his good trail dog Polly. I took Jr. some jelly I had made.

Well now we wait for spring lambs! Cross your fingers and say a prayer. That is all I know to do now!
