Sheep, Heat, Working Dogs!!!

Things have been slow and HOT here!

Puppies are doing great, most are leaving in the next week.

I believe we have 2 puppies that still do not have homes (I am waiting on contracts to arrive in the mail to be sure) I will post photos and more information in a few days.

My lambs refuse to stay inside the hot fence! So they will have to be moved till they are weaned back to the arena. I moved 3 this evening (the ones that were out!) Tomorrow I will move the rest and put the Ewes back  behind the dam. I likely have 30 days before they can go back together.

Drover did not want to listen to me this evening, but he quickly understood that was NOT an option! He did real good, after the first bit of silliness!

The puppies stayed at the house in the stall while I worked dogs in the pens. Not enough time and daylight this evening to do it all.

I am working a new dog his name is Roscoe and he is a Heeler.  He is a nice dog, and learning much about farm work.

Oh, The Puppies have a small pool  now at the house and they all but live in it! They are so funny! I will have to do a video. This is a water loving bunch!
