Lets see…..Herding….Practicing herding….Actually herding sheep everyday! (I think I am a Shepherdess!) Cleaning, Decorating, Hauling off junk, Ordering Books, Answering Emails and Phone Calls, Playing with my last puppy (teaching him what he needed to know) Swinging in a swing with Stetson….Mowing…Spreading Mulch…Cleaning out the shop…Making Lists…. AND WORKING on the ARENA!!!!!! OH! THAT is what I have been doing!!!! Too tired to blog…
Well we are about to get ready for the biggest event at Maple Grove Farm ever!
Three Days of English Shepherd Heaven!
Okay it is called the NC English Shepherd Gathering!!!!
Starts Thursday Evening with the Red Cross First Aid Course for Dogs at 6:00PM. Anyone that wants to go out to eat at Skippers Seafood should be here at 4:30PM…
Friday 8:00AM in the shop Herding Clinic then off to the sheep pens for working dogs!
9:00AM Frisbee Clinic…
5:00 PM a shorten version of the Red Cross Course taught by Dianne Kuhl.
7:30PM we all go to the Mexican Place in Lexington for some great food!
SATURDAY IS THE BIG DAY!!!!
Gather here at 9:00 AM if you can…We will eat Les’ Famious Barbcued Chicken at Noon.
Then the NESR Auction and Raffle….BOY are there some GREAT items!!! You will not want to miss this!
A special encore by Michelle and Jim Thomas from their Championship win in Freestyle Frisbee !
All day will be dedicated to laughing, enjoying, playing with our dogs and meeting all our friends! New and old!
Sunday is the AHBA Trial!
Starts at 9:00 AM Sheep and Ducks. HTAD All Levels…HCT and Jr Herding Dog!
Two Judges so you can earn a title!
It promises to be a beautiful weekend! The weather will be nice and the people and dogs will be Wonderful!
