All Summer and early Fall, we spent prepairing for the North Carolina English Shepherd Gathering.
Fixing fences…Installing Gates…Putting up fence…Digging post holes…Tamping posts into post holes…(by hand with a tamping pole) Hanging Gates…makeing gates swing properly…Installing latches on all the gates…Making pens sturdy…Cleaning up and out the shop and barn…Chopping down brush…
You might ask about now “What does all that have to do with the North Carolina English Shepherd Gathering?”
We hold a herding Clinic on Friday and an AHBA Trial on Sunday…So all that has to do with herding and fencing for the areas we use. Cleaning up the shop has to do with where we eat and visit.
More latter…
