Today was the day.
My decisions are made!
NOT ANNOUNCED! YET!!!
Connie and I did some informal puppy tests.
You see, part of how I raise these puppies is like a constant test.
I drop things all the time round them. So it is difficult to get much of a reaction if any.
I take them all sorts of places on the farm.
We learn to sit for special food.
They live on all sorts of surfaces. Concrete, leaves, dirt, gravel. grass, hay, shavings, mulch, wood, carpet, vinyl etc
Steps and things to climb on abound (only 2 steps) .
Sheep, Horses, Dogs, People, Cars, Trucks, JD Gators, Lawn mowers, Children, Ducks, Roosters, etc…this is the norm for these puppies.
Pond and mud holes, creek, and ditches.
Swinging daily.
I do not coddle the puppies but expect them to be bold and strong and smart! They are!
I do not allow the puppies to scratch and bite me or tear up my things (includes pants legs and my skin) So there is discipline! But fairness!
Daily the puppies learn from 6 older dogs including their Mother BOO!
I am working on photos and placements. I will sleep on them tonight and think and pray about my choices. I will announce them along with the photos hopefully by Saturday!
Connie thank you for all your help in evaluating this good litter, and for your opinions.
