I took my time and made the right decisions for all my puppies and their new people…
Puppies started leaving for their forever homes last week. As of yesterday five puppies have left.
I have one puppy “Maggie” a bob tail, in South Carolina and settling in , one sable female in Greenville NC, “Maggie Mae”, a male bob tail in Stokesdale NC “Jake”, a sable male with a tail in Travelers Rest SC “Clancy”, and yesterday a bob tailed tri color female left for Texas.
All but one of the five puppies left will be leaving this week.
BOO was upset with the first 3 that left. She missed them. And seemed worried. Now she is okay. Timber is the one that will be lost when they all leave… (as will I) I have really enjoyed these puppies. They have been a pleasure to raise.
I was laying in the grass the other evening getting a view of the world from the eye level of a puppy. Kinda interesting. Their world is a lot bigger than ours! At least the people and things in it.
I wonder what these puppies think as they leave here. They seem to “Know” something is fixing to happen.
I tell each puppy this is what they were born for! To be good dogs and make me proud of them. With each puppy that leaves a little bit of me goes with them but a lot of the puppy remains in my heart! Makes me smile thru my tears. I know the joy and happiness and yes the trials and troubles their new owners will have. But my what a wonderful Journey!
The new friends that I make as I place these puppies…they are my treasure … I am so very Blessed!
